LAI Switchboards Australia was engaged by SAGE Automation for the design & manufacture of varying types of Switchboards to replace existing Switchboards as part of an upgrade to three of SA Water’s water treatment plants, Barossa, Anstey Hill and Little Para. Working closely and building on the already strong working relationship that consists between LAI Switchboards Australia, Sage Automation & SA Water the project to date has been delivered successfully given the tight manufacture time frames & the strict design requirements.

 

The scope of work consists of:

•Barossa WTP:

-The Manufacture and Supply of a New Main Switchboard

-1000A Busbar, Form 3Bi 25kA construction.

-The Manufacture and Supply of 4 Main Distribution Boards.

-Ranging from 250A to 1000A Busbar, Form 3Bi construction.

 

•Anstey Hill WTP:

-The Manufacture and Supply of a New Main Switchboard

-1000A Busbar, Form 3Bi 25kA construction.

-The Manufacture and Supply of 3 Main Distribution Boards

-Ranging from 250A to 1000A Busbar, Form 3Bi construction.

 

•Little Para WTP:

-The Manufacture and Supply of a  New Main Switchboard

-1000A Busbar, Form 3Bi 25kA construction.

-The Manufacture and Supply of 4 Main Distribution Boards

-Ranging from 250A to 1000A Busbar, Form 3Bi construction.

 

All switchboards have been manufactured in accordance with SA Water’s latest specification TS300.

This ranges from zinc to stainless steel construction with specific powder coat and polish finishes. Our expertise in custom build switchboards aided us in manufacturing the new switchboards to fit in the existing space as well as adhering to site restrictions and limitations.
