Cavpower's new world class facility located at Gepps Cross Adelaide sets the industry standard for quality, efficiency and productivity in the rebuilding of major machine and equipment components for heavy mining equipment, Lai Switchboards was engaged by Tip Top Electrical in 2014 to design and manufacture all the Low Voltage switchboards for the new facility. Lai Worked closely with Tip Top and Cat to achieve a switchboard design that suits Cat’s lean approach.
The work performed by Lai Switchboard included the following:
The manufacture and supply of 3200Amp 50ka Main switchboard.
The manufacture and supply of 6 main distribution boards ranging from 400amps to 1000amps.
The manufacture and supply of 16 outlet distribution boards.
The manufacture and supply of 2 Mechanical services switchboards.
This project was successfully executed by Lai Switchboards within 4 months.
