LAI Switchboards were successful in winning the supply of all Enclosed MV Switchgear for the Wheatstone Construction Camp in WA. Being a Wind Region D Cyclonic area; the specifications for this Project were very high in regards to the construction of the Enclosures. LAI Switchboards employed an Engineering Team to help design the enclosures to the specified ratings of:
Wind Region: D
Impact Rating: IK10 to AS1939-1990
Once proven, LAI constructed the enclosures to the necessary requirements to meet these standards.
Switchboards designed and manufactured by LAI Switchboards consisted of :
•6 x MV/LV Kiosk Padmount Substations
•4 x Enclosed RMU Padmounts
•3 x Enclosed Transformer Padmounts
