Patrick Port Botany – Container Terminal Automation
In 2014 Lai Switchboards Australia was engaged by Patrick and project engineers SEMF to provide outdoor switchboards for lighting and access control for their new upgrade at Port Botany. The major upgrade included a fully automated container loading/unloading system.
The work performed by Lai Switchboards included the following:
- 185+ customized 316 Stainless steel Distribution, PLC and LCS cabinets.
Lai Switchboards Australia’s advanced sheetmetal capabilities and the ability to deliver on a tight deadline using multi-State factories in Queensland and Victoria was a major advantage to the project. Lai produced the innovative design, sheet metal, detailed controls design and full documentation for the project.
